Dr Fawad Naseer
Head of Computer Science and Software Eng. School
- I am a technology educator, researcher, and mentor driven by a passion for transforming lives through innovation in AI and robotics. My academic journey began with a BSc in Telecommunication Engineering and later culminated in a PhD in Electrical Engineering, where I focused on using Deep Reinforcement Learning to solve real-world challenges in telepresence robotics. Over the last 15+ years, I’ve served in diverse roles—from teaching at renowned universities to leading transnational education programs in collaboration with the University of London, University of Essex, and Liverpool John Moores University. Currently, I head the School of Computer Science & Software Engineering at Beaconhouse International College, where I oversee multi-campus operations and quality assurance for international curricula.
My career spans a blend of academia, industry, and global mentorship. I have designed and delivered cutting-edge courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT, and Programming, and mentored students in research that has led to international recognition and publication. I’ve also had the privilege of guiding learners through programs with the University of Westminster and the New York Academy of Sciences.
What truly excites me is working with young minds—especially high school students—to help them build, experiment, and innovate. Through hands-on projects and mentoring, I aim to ignite curiosity and nurture the next generation of technology leaders.

- Brief Summary of Your Research Interests.
- My research focuses on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Education Technology. I am particularly interested in intelligent robotics systems, telepresence technologies, and AI-driven adaptive learning. My work explores how Deep Reinforcement Learning can enhance human-robot interaction, especially in healthcare and remote education environments. I also investigate the integration of IoT and smart systems in sustainable environments, and how AI can personalize education through automated assessments and intelligent feedback systems. A significant part of my research examines the role of AI in higher education governance, accessibility, and global transnational learning models. Through this multidisciplinary lens, I aim to design inclusive, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions that advance both technological innovation and educational equity.
- Please describe your past experience mentoring or teaching students.
-
With over 15 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership, I have had the privilege of mentoring a diverse range of students—from high schoolers to postgraduate learners—across Pakistan and internationally.
As an Associate Professor and Head of the Computer Science & Software Engineering School at Beaconhouse International College, I lead the delivery of UK-based degree programs, mentoring students through advanced courses in AI, robotics, machine learning, IoT, and data science.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in project-based learning and real-world application. I’ve guided students to design and build intelligent systems such as autonomous farming robots, voice-controlled assistants, smart security systems, and telepresence healthcare solutions. Many of these projects have been showcased in national and international competitions and have even contributed to research publications and patent filings.
I’ve also worked closely with younger students through STEM Visions Pvt. Ltd., a company I founded to promote robotics and innovation at the school level. Through workshops, summer camps, and school consultancy, I’ve helped students develop skills in programming, electronics, and problem-solving. I’ve served as a mentor in global programs like the University of Westminster’s Career Mentoring Programme and the New York Academy of Sciences, where I supported students in shaping their academic and professional paths.
Whether it’s guiding a high schooler through their first Arduino project or helping a graduate student publish their research, my goal is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and nurture a lifelong passion for learning and innovation.
